I have 1GB upload and download speeds hard-lined to my Xbox and I still have lag issues trying to ping to St. Louis or Portland (I'm in CO).
Last I heard from Xbox for some other issues on Destiny 2, they mentioned to me that there are throttling procedures in place for high data usage times (holidays or time-off for kids) or high population areas.
I thought it was outrageous, but I/we (as a community) cannot do anything about it.
I don't have an actual answer, just shedding some light on the issue at hand.
@ScotchTape1993 You've literally covered all bases at your end.
So in short, there's nothing you can do. Going to assume you've tried the basics like power cycling etc considering the lengths you've gone to in every other aspect lol.
- @MandatoryIDtag This is probably why so many people are leaving Xbox behind. I've been looking at making the switch to PC or at the very least PS4.
I just don't want to lose all my premium content. I have 2 heirlooms nearly every legendary item unlocked and a bunch of event exclusive skins.@DarthValtrex Yeah thats definitely a problem. It's a tough call to make really.
