Has new cheats hit the market?

Are the blatant cheaters back?

Im dying to and seeing ppl aimlock with no recoil across the map again. Has new undedected cheats hit the market again? Anyone else experienced this? and people seem to have way to good game sense without info.

After the last big ban wave ive actually enjoyed the game more then in a long while,  fair games atleast under peak hours. Are we back to the blatant cheating lobbies once again?

Since this is a reoccuring situation and has become a pattern maybe its time to put apex on the shelf once and for all since EA does not seem to find a solution.

Would love to hear peoples opinions and experiences!

    Hey harutatn,

Fact of the matter is, this will always be somewhat of a digital arms race in the gaming industry itself. We have various detection methods that are regularly updated with new angles and methods being explored constantly, but will always have people exploring ways to bypass them as well. It's a pretty vicious cycle you'll see across just about every competitive online game to varying degrees, unfortunately.

That said, you can check our most recent anticheat update here (quoted below), and this is absolutely something that's remains a top priority. As mentioned, there are additional new methods we're working to push out and we'll share those updates when we can. In the meantime, while reporting can seem like a never-ending activity as cheaters make new accounts, that absolutely does help to more quickly and accurately detect and remove - or even block - these accounts and cheats from ruining more games.

Thank you for reporting and for hanging in there!

As we move into the midway point of split 2 for Season 28, we wanted to share some ban numbers and an update on the infection rate of Apex.

Since our last post on April 2nd, across all platforms, we have banned a total of 28,267 accounts for various cheating infractions. One highlight from these two weeks of numbers is nearly 1000 bans for DMA card use. RP Removed for S28: 6,655,192 Split 1: 4,413,776 Split 2: 2,241,416

Another highlight and major milestone for the Anti Cheat team is that we have reached the lowest infection rate for Apex since we started tracking infection rate statistics. We're sitting at a 4.1% infection rate currently, midway through the current split, down from our previous all-time-low (low is good) of 5.8% reported in December 2025. While there is more work to be done and more updates to give you all, we want to take a moment to recognize the work put in from our security team and the collaboration from the community to reach this goal. Thank you for your reports and tips that helped us get here.

We are currently working on more updates, enhancements and detections, and we are excited to be able to share even more soon!

I’ve been feeling this too. For a couple weeks after the ban waves it felt like the game was smooth and fights were fair. Now my ranked lobbies are infected with sub level 100 accounts that all seem to be wall hacking, aim snapping, and or have zero recoil. I spectate them for at least 5 minutes to be sure but almost always end up reporting whole teams of low level accounts with what seem to be obvious cheats. It feels like after their main accounts go banned that they spent all their money on they just rage cheat now because they have nothing to lose but their rank. Sometimes I even end up reporting my own teammates because I solo queued into ranked and get paired with teammates that are lvl 25-40 with what seem like perfect aim and wall hacks. I’ve definitely noticed more blatant cheating since the ban waves started. Really wish EA would implement console/system bans and not just account bans. I’ve seen videos on YouTube of people bragging they can just make a new account in under 5 minutes and within a couple hours they’re back up into diamond or higher lobbies ruining it for legit players.

Yep, until EA actually implements hardware bans for cheaters, we'll continue to suffer all the same cheaters playing with new accounts. Make no mistake, this is a money thing, as EA needs the player numbers and will never permanently ban these people.

And yeah, like they have all my comments regarding the financial motivations for EA banning accounts only, they will likely ban this one, too.

  • "Now my ranked lobbies are infected with sub level 100 accounts that all seem to be wall hacking, aim snapping, and or have zero recoil."

And there it is. Right there. They can ban anyone they want. They can ban EVERYONE. It doesn't matter who they ban or how often if they're going to allow people to just fire up a new account in no longer than it takes to set up a fake email. The cheaters cheat, get caught, get banned, and are playing again in ten minutes. If it's any harder than that then someone please tell me I've got this all wrong. How I wish that was true.

  • Until we ban cheaters with hardware, nothing will change.

They'll keep coming back, and the fun will never end.

For some time now, Wildcard has had a ton of low-level players, between 1 and 200, who are often unstoppable. Watching NA streams, the situation is much better there. You see less suspicious situations. EU has been cooked for a long time.

Ranked games are much more "clean" – I agree with that. The main problem there is simply the constant battle with 3-stacks and the fact that the game looks like an ALGS thanks to Alter, which almost every team has.

On the other hand, public games are either very poorly monitored and go wild, or I have no idea what's going on. I have a feeling this cheating rate (4.1%?) only applies to ranked games. It's definitely much higher in pubs and wildcards.

Strange take Frankencooler, cheaters drive more people away from the game than they would bring in, even if it were purely about the money. We do not want them here, full stop.

Hardware bans do exist for certain situations, we've seen people on these very boards report it. Are they effective 100% of the time? No. We're continuing to work on this from multiple approaches.

As far as banning your comments, the account you're posting on has had zero posts removed or actioned for any reason. Feel free to DM if you have concerns about posts being removed, but that hasn't been done whatsoever.

  • its actually unplayable right now, every single game has more than 1 and you feel like you have to sweat like crazy for a single, simple kill

Fine, you give account ban numbers (which we know is nearly useless), exactly how many hardware bans have been enacted?

Years ago, I was banned by Battlefield 2 (mistakenly), and I was never able to play again online, no matter what I did, so I know this is possible.

If none of my comments have been deleted, I apologize. I've gone back several times to review my comments only to see them gone. I'm really old, maybe I'm not posting correctly, which is very possible.
