Collection event is a bit of a middle finger to the players

I’m sure it’s been said already but cmon , it’s the 2 year anniversary and the thanks for sticking with the game through all the terrible terrible bugs and slow fixes , * communication from the devs ...

@MassiveVernon I know some that love these reskins but I agree with you that I'm not very impressed. The rewards for playing through the even points are excellent.

The mode tho I am happy with. The loot is phenomenal.

As for the people that keep saying they should have given us shards. Get real. 🤣

@hayhor Yes we are very well aware Respawn and EA has no intention of giving out shards and why.

There are so many heirlooms who cares? Guaranteed a large percentage of players don't have a single heirloom, myself included. Do they think people like me are about to drop money on 2000 Apex packs or so to catch up? LOL!!!

The question becomes, what does EA and Respawn have to gain here by NOT giving shards?

If anything it would be seen as a grand gesture that would almost certainly bring people flocking back to the game.
