Company using Mirage to promote their product? Copyright infringement?

Maybe I am just overthinking things but isn't using a character to promote a product frowned upon? There is an energy drink company geared at gamers that used mirage in a commercial type add on Twit...

    It is a pretty small company. I suppose it is possible but I doubt it. Then again I don't know how much something like that would cost.

      @Conniving_Beauty what surprises me is they did not go for a far more suitable legend in Octane! Bundle of joyous energy in that fellow 😃
