Now that I got your attention, I was wondering if console lobbies are overall easier?mainly asking because watching apex console gameplay feels like a completely different game compared to pc. from the movement, to the way people shoot, and even the way fights are done since long range fights are incredibly rare, mid range fights are typically uncommon and close range fights happen alot. Also how good is console ranked compared to pc ranked? All answers are fine but would slightly prefer to hear from people who played on both platforms.

@soccerking122 I think I can say a thing or two about this topic since I play on PC lobbies from time to time. I can't say that it's easier or more difficult, but the playstyle is just different. They are different playstyles. As you know, PC players (of course not all) tend to stay back and do some mid range damage first when third partying but usually doesn't happen in console lobbies. When people third party, they're in your face since aiming at mid-long range sucks with a controller.2. I believe that PC players are caught off guard when controller players ape/rush them instead of the typical mid-range battle hence the frustration of some PC players. The only way a controller player can have an upper hand against an mnk player is at close range.3. In general, console lobbies are tougher for me. I think some will have a different opinion on this.4. As you have said, yes there are less snipers in console lobbies. Everyone has a close range weapon. No one touches the bocek or the sentinel. Some controller players won't even touch a kraber.5. In console lobbies, you won't see any tap strafing or wild movements. The most advanced movement you'll commonly see is just the typical crouch strafe.Not all lobbies are the same as well!6. The difference in play styles are also WIDELY DIFFERENT from region to region. I noticed that North American servers lobbies tend to die faster as compared to my usual Tokyo servers. NA players are just more aggressive.7. In general, it's harder to win in Tokyo lobbies since they are more strategic when engaging in fights even in pubs (in my opinion).

@soccerking122 less cheating on console, so in that sense you could certainly call them easier.There's also much less in the way of movement techs etc for console users, and since there are no input variances it puts people on a more level playing field.It all boils down to what your skill level is as a player though I guess.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. the 2nd point I can see that being the reason why that's the case. most of my annoyance came from ranked arenas since I often run into console players there and typically am sometimes force to fight them up close.@MandatoryIDtag the movement part makes sense since it's using an entire keyboard vs 2 sticks.A bit off topic but that Rampart PFP caught me way off guard. How's it been since the transition?

Console lobbies are easier yes. It seems like people don't miss their shots on PC. I'm still trying to figure out if people are really that good or if their just cheating because most of those shots and the accuracy just seems impossible tbh. You look at someone and your dead. I'm no stranger to PC and m+k, used to play Quake on the highest difficulty back in the day and used to play COD and Unreal Tournament as well, but in Apex it's a whole different ball game. On PC it seems like everyone is a pro player. I can't even keep up tbh. On console I can at least compete. On PC I just get steam rolled weather playing controller or m+k. If you want to know what it's really like go to YouTube and search "Dellor Apex rage compilation 14" lol, that pretty much sums up my experience.

@soccerking122 The only PC lobbies I have played in are @E9ine_AC lobbies. They are harder overall than what I am used to but I think that is more due to his pred past. I will say I see people moving much better in them and as you mention the beaming from mid and long range is much more prevalent. Tho with E9 we don't really stay back. lolThere are streamers that have made the move from console to PC and are just as good on PC.The fact no console players made ALGS pro league kind of tells you there is a level PC can get to consoles cannot tho.Makes you wonder why people whine about controllers. 🤷♂️

@Cheese9Man I imagined that console players play more strategically, PC players go ape mode tap strafing, super gliding in each other. It's just a guess tho, I have never owned a console or controller

@soccerking122 I’ve made Master every split since they introduced the rank (on console). Despite this, I still tend to lose the majority of matches that pit me against preds.

When I play with my PC friends, we end up pretty much playing PC Masters/Preds (in pubs). These lobbies are SIGNIFICANTLY harder than my console lobbies. Like, I probably have a win rate less than 1% in PC lobbies.

@soccerking122 I find it to be quite the opposite, when I play with one of my friends in PC lobbies I find it more enjoyable and less sweaty.
you should try playing on Bahrain server then tell me if it's easy, these guys can make every single match feels like ALGS finals XD.
even the LVL 200 and below in this server play like their lives depend on this win

Like some have said, it is just different. I play on both platforms but spend more time on consol than pc when it comes to apex. When I finally chose to download it on my pc the first thing I noticed was the distance you can render. I could see enemies at distances I would have never dreamed I could on my ps4. The aiming mid to long range in my opinion is far easier on pc. On the flip side, it was easier to get lost in close range battles and the controller aim assist helps greatly in that regard on consol. This makes closing distance in consol lobbies easier with far less punishment for poor positioning. I think that is what makes the lobbies feel overall easier.
Ps. I have noticed a lot of people saying cheating is more common on pc. Since chronos and other accessories have come out cheating is on the rise in consol and is harder to detect.
