- @Cheese9Man I use an Xbox Elite controller. I keep vibration on, but I turn off the trigger vibration. That got turned off day 1, Lol
I have no idea why, but I can NOT aim when there is no controller vibration. It seriously messes me up. If my batteries get low and the vibration turns off, I'm toast I always keep it on. IT actually helps my aiming
- @Cheese9Man Off.
Off. The trade off for me is it can be a bit easier for me to have a delay in noticing incoming damage, if there's a lot going on. Interesting to me, it's the only game I turn off vibration for. Some other shooters I play, the gun play feels off without it. My buddy I play with is the opposite, on for Apex but off for other games.
- @Cheese9Man I leave the vibration on, had never even thought about turning it off 🙄
Just saw a video on youtube and one tip he gave was to turn off controller vibration. I’ll try it but like what Pandreno have said, you might be giving up a valuable information when you’re getting hit since sometimes I didn’t see the indicator. Also is there a way to turn off the screen shake effect when a carepack drops?
- @Cheese9Man i might try it too, i can't get any worse at the game! 😁
- @Cheese9Man I have controller vibration completely turned off for everything, I find it distracting and it wastes battery
- @MyName1sNotJohn Exactly! I also shut off all haptic feedback on games that support it.
Thanks everyone for answering but the correct answer is to ditch controller and switch to the superior MnK. 🤣
Anyone else have their damage indicator on 2D rather than 3D? It’s easier for me to know where the enemy is coming from for some weird reason.
