Why don't you let the real Pros decide this?
In the ALGS there are various Teams playing on vontroller and the Teams that are playing on Mouse+Keyboard do not have a problem with it.
There are some players that switched from Keyboard to controller an then switched back to mouse+Keyboard.
If that is such a huge advantage, wouldn't all pro Teams would play on controller?

I see it in a same way then positioning in this game
When you engage in fight, you try to create advantageous position like high ground or head glitch that is hard to shoot
essentially what controller does over MnK is creates this kinda advantageous situation on close combat
Issue is that there is no way to know if somebody is on controller before you get beamed removing any counterplay out of the equation, unlike with headglitch or high ground you are able to think before engaging about the position you are at.
Mnk performs pretty much the same in close combat and distances, while controller is brutal at close combat and mediocre at distances and if somebody says that having two different win conditions is in balance with each others. i think they're just defending their controller playstyle.
What comes to twitch streamers going to predator with mnk and controller both is unrelated because they literally dont need to do almost any damage to win a game in three stack team vs plats who end up in pred lobbies.
These predator teams keep abusing weaker teams, mostly soloque players and randoms. but when they run into team like imperialhal, they lose straight 3vs3 like 75% of the time. that is also very weird considering elo they play at
elo system is being abused into small pieces and there is nothing apex is willing to do for that
- @GRiPSViGiL TSM_ImperialHal plays controller. TSM_Albralelie plays controller as well(they even played one tournament using controller). nicewigg, daltoosh, calamity used to play with controller, but switched to k&m.. i dont think that pro players think this is ridiculous.
- @GRiPSViGiL you don't understand at all how aim assist works on pc... TSM_Albralelie, TSM_ImperialHal the real pros in Apex Legends(shroud does not play tournaments in apex) and they have played competitive games using controller.. They often use controller on their streams. They are really good with controller as well, as with k&m..
- @xTomboyRespecter liar. i've played with controller on pc and reached diamond many times(2 times without aim assist, season 5 i turned it on).. The only change i've noticed is that aim assist sligtly helps u to follow the target if he very close to you(this help totaly goes off when u ads).

- @matzesingt Lmao. Sure, now try if at far ranges and watch as you are unable to lead shots and get your target switched because another enemy ran near the one you targeted. Aim assist is a detriment not an advantage and is turned off immediately in any game that offers me the option.
- @djentyman I've used it as well and could just as easily call you a liar defending aim assist. So call me what you will but it doesn't change my experience with it. It's currently over-tuned.
See most you people saying it is no big deal are all over the place. We are talking about automation here. If you are fine with automation then aimbots should totally be acceptable...which in this generation of gamers it seems to be fine. Not only that but the amount of posers using no recoil scripts and soft bots...such a sad group you guys are. Just because some pro's seem to be okay with automation doesn't mean jack ish in this conversation. If you use something that automates your actions then you are a poser.

spoiler: aim assist slows sensitivity at a target, aim assist sligtly follows target a litlle(hip fire only)
and as i said, aim assist has not improved anything after i turned it on. statistics remained the same. max reached rating remained the same. stats gained significantly only when i switched to m&k.. after 1 week of playing with m&k and training kovaaks i have avg dmg 500+ vs 400 using controller and win rate 14% vs 6% using controller. and kda 1.5 vs 1 using controller. i've played apex legendends on ps4 since realease and then switched to pc using controller more then a year. and 1 week of playing m&k brought more results then all time before(i have never played shooters using m&k before).
