- 5 years ago@MyName1sNotJohn This. TitanFall 2 has most of the weapons of Apex. Some have different names as they are predecessors (R-201 instead of R-301, R-97 instead of R-99, etc.). They are identical though. Also, many Apex Legend tactical abilities are based on Titan pilot abilities (Bloodhound scan, Wraith voidwalk, Octane stim, Mirage dupe, etc.)
For BR, yeah maybe go back to Warzone.- 5 years ago
@ArchAngeL-PCXI think the only turn off for Titanfall is the skill cap, you cannot play it like a COD shooter because it is all about your movement. Lots of weapons are really strong lasers with practically no recoil and the game has super low TTK, melee is one hit kill etc, super slow to climb ledges, because the game wants you to fine tune your movement as a pilot, gun on the run, stick to the walls while moving, etc
and as a titan it’s all about resource management and outplaying the other titan, knowing your Titans strengths and weaknesses. Overall really satisfying once you get the hang of it.
My friends and I who play Apex like Titanfall as a shooter to blow off steam, don’t care as much about winning or losing just play for fun. I have one slot dedicated to fun loadouts like the Mozambique and Devotion to keep things fresh. Anyone who likes apex should try Titanfall 2- Zeelmaekers5 years agoHero+
definitely play the campaign first to get used to the movement else you will get destroyed.
- 5 years ago@MyName1sNotJohn is the players base still active for this game?
I would love to play it, I have to buy it but then I was worried that it might be dead- 5 years ago@maximas1986 Fairly active all things considered, but there can be a few minutes waiting time between games. 10,000 players on a good day (for Xbox) so maybe a bit more on PS/PC.
