Crafting materials
Can you please make it so we can get crafting materials easier and faster? I've been playing for hours today, and don't even have 100 crafting materials. Why? Is it so people spend real money on Ape...

@TheTechGenius You have to purchase COD and BF... this game is FREE and you do get rewards for doing well, you’ll level up and get apex packs which give you a chance at premium content and crafting materials.
@DarthValtrex Nothing to work towards after level 500 though.
I agree with you both to a certain extent but there isn't anything persuading me to play currently. We could have something like the event challenges to grind towards but without the need for an event. It doesn't necessarily need to be skill based but the more you play the more you earn would incentivise players not to leave and why so many have complained about legend tokens that can't be spent.
Excluding @MandatoryIDtag who can recolour everything and is legend token poor by being coin rich. 😛
I have BP 1-5, level 500 and all legend skins i'm after. I now have nothing to work towards so i'll wait till S6 for new content in the mean time being drawn to other similar games. Not all who would will return and as the BR market is ever more competitive i think they should be actively encouraging more people to stay one way or another.
@apostolateofDOOMI don't disagree that there needs to be more for players who have achieved level 500 and completed the BP. But what this player is suggesting is more free content for new players or getting it at a faster rate.
If they increases the rate at which players complete levels to 500 you'll have a ton players who are in "I have nothing to work towards" group.
Right now the majority of the purchases I make in game are done just to support the game. I have a ton of legendary items/skins for just about everything.
If they give too much content away for free, they won't make any money. The higher skill players will complete tasks rapidly and accomplish all of the "work towards this" stuff quickly. They have to try and balance it so that things are easy enough that average players can complete things.
That's where rank comes into play, grind that to try and get dive trails and bragging rights.- @DarthValtrex I disagree with him on that as there is enough free content and if you increase the rate you acquire loot boxes it will promote smurfing even more which is already a major problem.
They shouldn't increase but just remove the cap altogether although i don't think that's much incentive for someone already at 500 as they'll likely have most skins they want and only after an heirloom which i highly doubt they'll make earnable through playing.
They should do something to entice us to stay though but getting a different type of red trail isn't enough ''end game'' content for me personally.- @apostolateofDOOM I think if they add an area where we can burn up legend tokens it would solve that issue.
Imagine a mode in which you buy in with legend tokens with the winners getting some kind of reward. That right there would solve 2 issues with one addition. It will give people a way to use the endless legend tokens they have and give them a reason to earn them from normal game play modes.
I agree more incentive is needed to get people to play all season long.
