Critique my gameplay.

  • @phoenixforce55 Try to be faster with your looting, don't waste time going over areas that your teammates looted already. If you're running 2 close range weapons like r99+mastiff just grab the purple/blue armor if you're still on a level 1 Evo in top 12. You spend a lot of time looking around standing still, 2 quick shots from a sniper and your 125 health are gone, try to always keep moving, even if you're just strafing left and right.

3:20 your aim is fine but try not to be exposed like that in the open, there's cover on your left you can play around, once SBMM puts you into sweatier lobbies you will get focus fired pretty quickly in such situations.

3:40 good kill on the Crypto, if you have a second to breathe in a fight use it to pop a battery and heal to full health before you start looting or pick up a fresh armor from the deathbox.

Fastest way to run from A to B is slide jumping, jumping mid-slide gives you higher movement speed and makes you harder to hit in the open field, try it out and you will get used to it pretty fast.

10:40 you hit some good shots on the Revenant but as soon as you see his teammates + your shields get cracked, fall back to regroup with your team and heal up to full health. You kept fighting with lowhealth, your superior aim saved you there.

12:15 nice flank that you're pulling off there

12:40 you're literally 1 hp, don't peak that door, fall back and heal up

Overall a decent game. You have very good aim for a new player which saved you in many situations. For now the only thing you need to further improve is your movement, playing around covers and most important, keep popping healables inbetween fights. good luck and have fun in your future games.

  • "the best match I've ever had"

haha. Ok we'll critique your best match 😛

    GG

Outside of actual combat some of your movements seemed a little indecisive.(?)

Maybe sometimes when you were still and watching perhaps could have add slight movement to ensure no one gets an easy sneaky sniped headshot.

In the final rounds you failed to reload your Mastiff at least twice... at one point you was prowling with it in ads... both times this could have proved costly.

Somtimes personally i will rather swap out a shield instead of using cells/batteries -- saves time healing, saves shields, and saves time having to loot for more. Just my opinion. (In certain situations taking this method can be difference of life/death)

Maybe on the final kill could be argued you were too hasty as you engaged with really low health. Could have got you knocked and cost your team, but it got you the win. So it's one of those situations where it's awkward to critique, because on one hand you can say it wasnt ideal due to xyz on the other hand you did it and won.

I've done the same in some situations, I think my thoughts were more if you have the time to heal, you should, but if you know opponents are also low and vulnerable then you can call it either way.

GG i wish you many more games like that - unless we're in the same lobby (excl if we're on the same team! 😛)

  • Also as Mirage...

Not sure if I maybe didn't notice, and perhaps just a personal teq/tip...

I feel you could have used your tactical more. You seemed to forget about it near end?(?  maybe i just didnt see - i watched 2nd half in sun)

When you're running in open areas especially

    - if you're the front of squad; chuck a decoy in front of you

    - if you're back of squad; make a decoy trail behind you

Lowers chance of you being caught first out in open.

  • @1ronKeys ofc you can say the engage was too hasty, if the enemy loba actually hit her shots, he would've been dead
  • Thank you so much! I am by no means a good player but i appericiate your feedback and will work on it!❤️

It's better to be lucky than good, but you can't count on luck.

Only use an evo if you have a long range gun or you just grabbed it off a hot drop and you know people are around. If enemies have white shield they have 25 more hp than you so if you can aim you can win that and level it fast but other than that you only wanna take it if you have like a hemlock, scout, wingman, you know a mid to long range gun and your first fight you don’t wanna get up close and personal just poke, but if the game is widdling down you should consider picking up that blue and definitely that purple.

one thing that makes a big diff in this game is shield swapping down someone then thirst them if you can and take their shield instead of healing

alwaus think about where you are and your surrounding cause at one point you had your back to the entire map on high ground crouched behind a air conditioner unit

practice more fluid movement like your slide jumps and wall bounces and don’t be scared to yoink some shields
