cross platform unavailable

I was going to play arenas with a couple of my console friends since they finally brought it back after years of saying that it was never going to make a return and we were able to play it for the first couple days. I get on today to play some more and none of my console friends are in my friends list and everything says to check cross play settings, but ive checked multiple times thoroughly through the settings and there arent any cross play settings. i know my cross play is working because it says cross play enabled above the game mode selected. I just want to play arenas like the good ole days with my friends before its gone for years again. apex please fix your game!
