Cross Progression heavily implied by EA, should we be eligible for full refund?
All the promotional content, game trailers, posters, etc lists every platform we’re able to play Apex Legends on. At no point does EA or Respawn let us know our purchases are locked to one platform, I’ve read the ToS, which is pretty straight forward (as someone who writes contracts for a living) but there’s no mention of the “EA Virtual Currency” being locked to one device.
I’m hoping to leave the PS4. Many of us will change platforms in the upcoming year.
Personally, I’ve spent a small fortune trying to support this game and feel I’ve been taken advantage of by deceitful businesses practices. I come here with a simple question: what is EAs solution to this issue? Sometimes I wonder if these types of issues aren’t better handled in court, so companies like EA are less enthusiastic about these types of predatory business practices.
