Hey @Deni_Demolish
This hurts me to say but cross progression will never be supported in Apex Legends (at least not for a long time) due to how the game was initially set up.
In the EA Play announcement overview at the Apex website it was also stated cross progression won't be supported anytime soon.
Sorry for the huge bummer ☹️
That’s a massive mistake they made then, I hope they’re able to remedy that quick.
Regardless, lack of cross progression is not disclosed anywhere in-game or on the EA website, are we eligible for full refunds or is EA able to manually transfer our account to other platforms?

It is not a mistake, this is by design and working as intended. Want to have a second account with all the stuff you earned on your first? [Edit - Admin.]

If lack of cross-progression was an oversight, then it was a huge mistake. They must not have anticipated the generation of consoles coming out, many people will have to choose between their expensive Apex accounts or new, better platforms.
This could lead them to losing many of their high paying customers.
- DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)@Deni_Demolish I don’t know that it is an oversight. Cross platform is becoming the new must-have in games. That said, xbox, PC and PS all have different code amongst other things. Setting up cross progression can be extremely difficult, getting the data from PS4 to merge with PC or Xbox.
Then there are the issues that come with identifying accounts and merging the purchases.
There would be a lot hurdles to jump in order to make this work.
I want cross progression as much as you. I have spent a decent amount on the game. But asking for a refund or saying we were scammed, is just not fair to EA.
We made the purchases knowing full well cross progression was not an option. They have not changed any of the terms or done anything that’s predatory or unethical.

@Deni_DemolishWhy would they let you transfer your stuff when they can just sell you more??? lmao Respawn is as greedy as they come. If they stand to make no financial benefit then they'll make no effort.
It's the whole reason they devote little to no resources at all to combat cheaters. What do they stand to make off of stopping cheaters for good? Nothing... it's a negative net investment.
What do they stand to make by allowing cheaters to cheat in perpetuity? SALES, SALES, SALES!!!They even allow cheaters to cheat for months at a time so they can ensure any purchases made during that time by that account won't be eligible for a charge back. Though I don't want to give them more credit than they deserve; this is a tactic that Lord Gaben perfected for steam awhile ago. Respawn is just copying his way of doing things.
