One of my dailies today is to "perform 1 finishing move as Mirage", but the challenge does not work or is bugged.
Performing a finishing move is the same as an execution right?
- Tried doing that and win the game - Did not work
- Tried getting the last kill and one execution - Did not work
Then what is the challenge?
Tried doing it with Mirages "First Finisher"
Guess what - That worked.

That the other thing, I've been able to do the full animation for all but 1 attempt.
I have Mirages Legendary finisher if that by any rare chance is an issue at all.
Doubt that. MAybe also somebody interrupted you in last second so you didnt even noticed

This happened for me today for octane, I used first finisher two times two separate games full animation and did not recieve credit
