Hi all,To put it simply guy said hes got my ip and im dead.Can people really see my ip on apex legends?

If you have not reported the players please do so at the link below. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment/Your IP address is not easily accessible and it's not something he would have access to or could view from the game/your profile. That's communication between your console/PC and the EA servers. He would essentially have to hack into the EA servers to gain access to that kind of information. I would not worry about it much.If you're on PC I would set up the two-factor authentication. Basically it just secures your account, on the off chance he is some type of hacker and tries to access your account. I had someone give me an earful tonight. The best thing you can do when people get angry, is ignore them and walk away. You don't want to fuel the fire no matter what they say. If they get really out of line just report it and let the TOS deal with it.

@NeonDrongo I'd guess the only possible way is if the person was genius level hack that has access to Origin/EA servers.

99.999999% it was just a weak human making threats because their parents failed the planet Earth and all it's inhabitants.

I hope you already reported this person, if not please do as this behaviour is not acceptable.
I don't believe people can see players IP's, he is throwing just some empty threats.

@NeonDrongo Dont scared about some Kids in the Game. If they have Access to the Server where Apex is Run they See your Ip.
But it is not easy to find your Homeadress only with the Ip unless they have Access to your Provider.
I know Hollywood tell us there is a bit Bling Bling and some colored Led's and the Hack is done.
In real it is hard Work with many knowledge that 99% percent Apex Player dont have xD.

@NeonDrongo You should've told that kid that you are not worried, because your friends will respawn you 🙂.

I doubt other players can see your ip, although it's not impossible to get it. It's not worth the effort though...

the max thing if someone who know ur ip it's ur city (not ur home,dist.,nearby street)

Report in game... make report ticket to the game host/dev
Report on platform, console or whatever
And report officially.

I went to school for network administration.
And I can tell you this guy is just fibbing and talking trash.
Ip addresses are worthless.
The only valuable information that is possible from an ip address is your service provider and maybe loosely your city, as in the city your service provider is in. Not your actual address. And anyways he would not have access to your ip address because he does not have access to the EA server. 😛
This guy was just talking trash and wanted to vent.
I usually talk trash right back to em, or mute them, or quit.
Also your Ip address changes all the time and depends on what ip address your service provider gives you.
Today it maybe something like 196.168.132.18, tomorrow 168.115....

Ok so i just had this random guy on playstation tell me the state i live in and said that he checked my IP , this all happened on Apex in a lobby he invited me to . And im honestly kinda freaked out and dunno what to do
