@LordloshBang wrote:Of course its a bad change. This is not a arena game. Your spending way too much time on choosing legends, waiting on lobby to fill and loading screens, to drop, and to die in 0.5 seconds, and to wait on your teammates, and the whole experience is totally ******.
While in pubs 99% just leave, its reduce your actual play time and its bad, but in ranked you have to wait, which reduce your actual fight play to even lower.
I don`t see how lowering the TTK is a good thing in Apex. It was literally 1 of the main reason i prefer Apex over Warzone.
People saying that the TTK was high are mainly bad players with potato aim, that need 1 minute to aim on someone.
Most of the time you are killing someone within a second. What stretches the fight and a whole battle, was a broken ability like a Lifeline auto-revive, and going on cover for healing, which now will be even worst and way more often, which also reduce the gun fight to even more, which also reduce the actual important skill to be used, like aim/movement.
If you have a good aim(good, not insane, beast, GOD and so), you can pretty much wreck with a one mag or switch to secondary and finish it off. With heavy mag guns you can pretty much finish the whole squad without reloading, just switching to your secondary. Not to mention you can wreck a whole squad with Mastiff only
If a good aim one mag with R301/R99/Flatline and so on.
With Havoc you can wreck a whole team, same with Spitfire ....
TTK was never high, there was factors that stretched the fights, but this was not a TTK related. If anything they should have nerf healing and ability that interact in a gun fights.
They did the worst possible thing and they will paid the price. I expect a huge drop rate.
I`m done with this game, until they remove auto-revive, Nerf Devotion big time, and brings back the old TTK or even make it higher.
Higher TTK always rewards skills. You can`t get kill by a luck or because your enemy get a better first reaction at you.
This will lower the skill ceiling even more. GJ respawn.
Lmao, if you are so skilled you will do better. Unless you mean skill as in getting lucky finding a level 4 shield and then find players with low level loot to destroy while missing 25% of your shots. The mental gymnastics on display are amazing.
I stated million time i gave the game a break in S5.
But you need to start using your brain before commenting on something, otherwise you just look lets said bad to be civil.
But let me try:
Explain to me how in the blue hell lowering the TTK, have any effects on RNG and the luck at all ?
We still can drop and you get no armor or white one, while i get a purple/gold and your even in a more trouble, because i will kill you way easier. Now if your running 30 minutes without knowing what to do and wearing white armor, while i was been in 10-15 fights and got full purple or EVO, thats on you, and has nothing to do with the TTK, and you still have higher change to do something, compare to having a white armor with only 25 shields .....
So your point doesn`t have any sense at all.
TTK has nothing to do with the luck factor in loot. Actually higher TTK rewards the highly skilled player. Unlike CS:GO, which you can die if your not paying attention or not get a good reaction, or just someone shoot you from a direction your not looking or he just got lucky with his spray that he can`t even control, but because of the low TTK he hit you once in the head and its over for you.
Higher TTK means you need to have a good reaction, to track the target, to be able to read his movement, keep the recoil on the gun for the whole mag(most of the time), and even reload or switch weapon and do the work + on top of that, you need to be strafing/moving to dodge the bullets.
Guess which ones require more skill, a one shot, that could very well be a lucky shot, or the described above.
Not to mention how dumb the Gold armor is now. I mean you still need to use 2 cells to fully heals it, but to 175 ....
@asukojo I don't really like it. The pros don't seem to either. Removal of zip hopping, bunny hopping, introduction of random recoil, Lifeline Fast-Heal, and Pathfinder's constant nerfing just seems to keep lowering the skill ceiling. Fights feel one-dimensional, with barely any chance to actually drop back and heal if something goes wrong.
I agree the game was too sweaty and now its worse. They are ruining the game its almost unplayable everyone going around 1 shotting everyone. They should of nurfed the damage on all guns.
Perfect leave it as it is. The skill gap has widened.
Skill gap or RNG GAP? also isn't it funny pros are actually don't agree with changes. Like at all.
- @IDTAKEN192000 You're saying this in every thread and making people aggro and getting threads closed by the CM. Do you work for EA?
The TTK is in a bad place:
They need to bring it back pre Season 6 back to Season 5 at least.. Still the TTK in season 1 and 2 were the best.IMO.
Reducing shields, since guns are pure nerf, is maybe the best change of the season.
- ChemicalBurn8085 years agoSeasoned Novice@asukojo I prefer a LONGER ttk personally. It makes for a game which is more about gunfights as opposed to who sees the opponent first *cough*cod*cough*
@ChemicalBurn808 @Actually while I don’t like COD, again I think this is one thing they somewhat get right. Frankly if you see someone first, and let’s remember you also have skill enough to land your shot, then you should get to kill your enemy.
Just seeing someone first doesn’t mean all things are equal but you happened to get lucky.
It means you had the forethought to advance correctly, and you also had the skill to hit. Both things any good shooter game should reward .
