@E9ine_AC On or off the clock doesn't really matter. You represent an employer any time you speak through their channels or are in their uniform. I've basically been trained not to wear company clothing. lol
@hayhor Totally understand that and you are correct. It is just what the times we live in have come to. I have had some bosses who was crazy to say anything but at work it was a different story because at that time you are representing the company you are on the clock.
Take my uncle as example who works for nasa. Off clock he has no problem saying the moon landing this and that even does so to his superiors. Once on the clock he would never mention such a thing because at that point in time you are representing them.
I see the logic as i can smoke a cig while at home. I can not smoke a cig at work because they do not approve of it. There is no longer free time to be yourself or say what you mean without the fear you can lose your job.
When a cop is on duty he is allowed to arrest people when off the clock he must call in someone to come do it for him unless very extreme cases. At that point while he is a cop he is not as a civilian.

- @E9ine_AC I think the biggest issue here is that he replies with an associated Dev badge, at least that's what he is when replying on reddit, "Dev reply inside", hence off or on the clock doesn't really apply in that case.
- @Gabrielmojo26 Correct he def was in the wrong with that. He should of done it on his own personal account which that may be his personal account with a badge added to it.
We often preach in these forums to "do not answer back, just report, and move on" on threads where the OP was banned because he answered back to some guy harassing him in-game. It's really hard to defend this "EA positive play" thing when your actual devs target individuals and get petty over random internet people like those "Wrongfully banned" threads.
- @Cheese9Man hit the nail on the head with that one! Would love to get one of our EA mods opinion on this one, but my guess is they won’t touch this thread even with a ten foot pole.
