Ive had this question a few times on xbox lately too. Cant understand the logic behind it at all. Its far to limited to be of any consequence given the amount of variables involved in the game. Its hardly a simple "no" getting you into easier lobbies, is it?
Also champion badges in ranked dont really concern me, but it has to be said if I see a pred dive trail jumping early in the bus ride, I makes me squirm and I hesitate to be on the same side of the map as them😆.
Everybody has their own level and appropiate badge in ranked, I wouldn't demean other players efforts, not everone can play 24/7/365....
"Cant understand the logic behind it at all."
If answer = yes then discard data.
If answer = no then record whether or not player immediately re-queues.
If answer = yes then churn = 0.
If answer = no then churn =/= 0.
If churn =/= 0 then Problem Exists.
If Problem Exists then create ludicrously overpowered legends and other game-breaking features for next season.
With a data-driven company like EA it's pretty easy to know what it is that concerns them. It's $$$. When the data says X and revenues are falling off then X is the wrong answer. If the answer changes to Y and suddenly revenue starts to climb then Y was the answer all along. The problem is that there is no Y in a six year old game. Mathematically impossible. But Respawn, in order to show that they are "addressing the downward revenue trend," will continue to chase after Y with things like ASH and damage reductions for players holding an LMG. It's like beating people with a whip and waiting for their morale to improve.
