Well, it's simple, if you're in the top 10% players, you have a 90% chance of getting worse teammates. Out of those 10%, more than half can have bad moments or play in a style that's not very ncompatible with yours. I'd say expectations are unrealistically high and that's why there's so much "randoms" generated frustration 🙂.
I play unranked, solo queuing / muted because of reasons, but it's fine. There are unique challenge when matching with randoms: you need to establish a way to communicate very fast (speed team mating, haha), build trust, set up a plan for action, adapt to the team mates' playing style. Yes, this fails 90% of the time, but when it works, it feels more dynamic and rewarding than playing in a premade (less independent variables, hehe). Ranking up high after playing mostly with randoms is a great achievement to brag about.
