I know this is gonna sound absurd to some people.. Why is it that opponents seem to move so quickly and fluently but it feels like I'm stuck in quicksand? How do they catch up to you so quickly whe...
@Sand_spitter One huge boost to speed is being on a ledge and slightly moving then sliding off that ledge. This will give a gravity landing in sliding form like say horizon would have landing on her feet. So if coming off a ledge rock or what ever be sure to slid at edge of that lip. A lot do not do this and ive seen it cost them their life due to enemy chasing is still keeping up due to user not having that ledge slide speed boost.
@Sand_spitter Well say you are in frag. The back of the city near train tracks. that big cement and grass divider if you slide off that on the edge it grants a huge speed boost verse running. So you want to slide off that object stay in your slide animation. Never remove finger from the slide animation. This is something is used and perfected in firing range using octane on jump pads doing trick shots hip fire. This slide animation has soo much benefit that a lot do not utilize. Depending on map i can slide around like they do in titan fall. Just glide bouncing and sliding. Hip fire on the slide is also very good.
@E9ine_AC Nice! The real issue for me is in game movement / actions feeling sluggish at times vs opponents. I don't notice it in firing range. And sometimes it just dissappears and everything feels great. That's why I started to wonder if maybe some of it is forced onto players intentionally at times. I also started to notice certain patterns with the game regarding movement / responsiveness that directly influences things like win rates.
