Discord coming to xbox (and now playstation)

edit/update: Playstation will integrate discord in the coming months in version 7.0 according to Tom Henderson from Exputer a reputable gaming news website who leaked the new Playstation Edge controller months in advance. This great news for everyone not only for voice chatting your pc friends but also for those in playstation and xbox. As for Nintendo, don’t even bother getting your hopes up.

Good news for xbox players that play with PC players. Discord voice now works for both platforms. I believe sony owns a part of Discord so I would assume it will come soon. For playstation players, you can connect your PSN account with your discord account but you can only show your game status. This is a win for xbox players since we know how bad apex’s in-game voice chat. It’s 2022 and you can’t even talk during the loading screen.

But there’s a catch. You would have to use your phone as a middle man which is weird. I guess it’s still better than nothing.

@Cheese9Man Kinda pissed that we've got nothing on PS5, but I'm happy that xbox players finally got some sort of chat upgrade after the last several months of pain.

With the game chat being so awful, I haven't even considered trying to party up with an xbox player.

@pandareno1999 I've played hundreds if not thousands of games with kooch and he is xbox and he always knew how to adjust his volume so I could hear him. We never had a game chat issue.
