Disruptor rounds returning?

What if the disruptor rounds hop up returned to apex, but it is a gold hop up. It could also do what the anvil receiver does by using more than one bullet per shot. If it gets added back maybe the sentinel could use it instead of the player using an entire battery to give the extra shield damage. if the sentinel could use it, it might need ammo capacity buff

  • The problem with it returning and being put on the sentinel is that it would have to be toggleable and have some downside, or else the sentinel could just crack anyone’s shields at any time, which is kind of op.

  • @Sir_Named  Not really, the sentinel could just be left in its current state.

As for the OP I'd be happy to see it return but only as a RE-45 attachment. It balanced this weapon perfectly due to its already low dmg per shot and limited range.

However the Alternator was heavily overpowered by disruptors even more so when kitted out and made for a pretty stressful gaming experience to be honest.

Making the hop up gold wouldn't change much, anvil receivers are common as dirt at the moment and they're a gold hop up.

for the RE-45 it's fine for the dowside they mentioned, short range and low damage.

for the sentinal, it would be a nice addition, i have few ideas as a counter.

    1. you can't consume a battery without the hop-up, but it wont't degrade on it's on and have more shoots.

    or

    2. no need for batties or cells, either make it chage like the trouble take or if you don't shoot for 3 second it will charge on it's own without aiming.

    or

    3. or one the hop-up attacched, will have a toggle option betten normal rounds and charged round. but the downside, give it a reciol kick like the kraber. to reduce time between shoots.

Would love to see disruptor hop up in game again. Re45 use to be really decent gun once they removed hop up it is not even worth to grab anymore. For alternator it would be too much just because it got decent damage already and It's really easy to use with that small recoil.

  • @PROInD3  Wasn't  it just though? It was my favourite weapon during that season. Disruptor RE-45 with a hammerpoint bique was utter CQC carnage haha.

Exactly risky combo but deadly. And re45 was my favorite too. Hive five

  • I did like the Disruptor Rounds, and it was a amazing hop-up. However, I do see it needing a lot of nerfs if it is going to return to Apex anytime soon (I.E: doing less damage, requiring some form of charger, maybe from Shield Cells, etc). I also don't really agree with it being added on the Sentinel, for obvious OP reasons.

@AnticCarnival77  Strictly speaking it already is on the sentinel, just a revised version. They could literally just have it follow the same behaviour pattern. It really can't be any stronger than a 1 hit break on every shield in game.
