Do I need Apex in steam and origins to play?

I started up Apex legends on steam and I tried to sign in into my account but it always shows up disabled

When I started the download on steam, I uninstalled apex on the origins client.

So do I need both apex downloaded in origins and steam to sign in?

@KuyaAmouro Nope, I've only got it downloaded on Steam and it works.

@KuyaAmouro it would appear that you may have been banned I would see what happened. I dont have a PC so I dont know how it works but if your account has been disabled you could have been banned. (At least thats what I heard.)
