In case you did not see Faide was banned for 7 days for saying one word and that includes missing ALGS winter finals. I will not repeat it here even tho it isnt swearing. Just google it.
But this is a good reminder to be careful what you say in game chat.
@hayhor Never said that over the mics. I have called myself dumb. When I try and do something I knew I should not, tell my teammates, yeah that was dumb of me my bad.
The worst I tend to do is "what in the world are you doing?!" "where in the heck is my team?!" stuff like that.
I mute 99% of randoms I play with now. If they get angry at me and start chewing me out I have a hard time not responding.
@hayhor Eh who knows? But I can understand EA stance on it. It might not seem like much, but the bullying and harassment they grow up with absolutely destroys their self esteem, self worth and self confidence. So I get the 0 tolerance policy on it.
I had someone go off on a family member of mine in game and say that to him. What they did not know is my family member has difficulty with comprehension and has gone through some fairly brutal bullying. It put my family member into tears and it can be really hard for him to deal with.
Most people are fairly cool, I just tell them hey my teammate is new to the game try and be chill about it and patient with them. 99% are cool about it.
This is exactly why I avoid game chat as much as possible and stock to parties. My language is actually horrendous lol, received a few temp bans over on xbox and I've never actually hurled abuse at somebody. XD
@Koochi-Q Just foul mouthed lol, it's basically the native language of my industry. XD
