does this command CrossPlay_user_optin "0" really turn off crossplay?

To keep it short I remember seeing someone mention adding this command to the command lines in the steam/origin launcher on pc to "turn off crossplay". does this command really do just that or is it...

@soccerking122 I do not think so no. There really is no way to bypass the programming the system is set up to do. If that did work then it would completely stop them from queueing into a game due to thats not how it is designed and most likely would be completely ignored.
