Down-die and insta logout?
Is this because nobody trusts teamates will really help? is something broken with the general mechanics of this game?

- @duendemago I speak for myself. I don’t trust teammates... I don’t trust anyone... def not teammates when I see low lvl (or low skill badges).
Unless you have proven me wrong before the time that I get downed.
Just a half hour ago a dude kept talking ‘bravado’ at the character screen. I insta muted him. Guess who goes down first. What does teammember numero 2 do? Tries to go for the revive while I just pinged and got shot by enemies on the roof (this was at market). Guy is near teammate and goes for the revive, gets shot instantly by peacekeeper which did aprox 75 dmg... what does the teammate do instead of healing up/running away.... he attempts the revive again and just gets sprayed.
End result, first down 600dmg, me 500dmg, reviving guy 0dmg in a 10m game where they both were sniping and I was trying to flank... When I insta-leave it's usually because I've gone off by myself having refused to stand silently and wait 3 or 4 minutes for team mates to endlessly loot - OR - team mates have done something proving to me that I'm playing solo anyway (snatching up ammo for guns they dont have etc). Half the time I don't wait to get downed in the latter example, I'll just leave. If someone is mouthing off or being cancerous I just leave anyway.
Some players who are farming kills for their banner will just leave and hotdrop again as they think its quicker to get kills that way.
- @duendemago Its probably game mechanics, if i die, i leave. If i wanted to watch other people run around instead of actually playing, id be on twitch instead of this
Sometimes you can tell if it's worth sticking around or not. Sometimes randos disconnect even when you are doing everything in your power to bring them back. Most of the time if the dead rando doesn't see you instantly prioritize them despite still battling, they leave. If you take a moment to heal and get gear to ensure your survival and a successful revive, they leave. If you decide to not use the closest respawn beacon because it will mean instant death, they leave. Not much you can do about it when it's not your friend.
I always seem to get people quitting right after I finish a big team fight and ready to respawn, no idea why.

- @ElBirri Well i dont know how tight that thing is cause after leaving about 20 games in 1 day, i got 0 warning about it
- @darkcobrabws in normal games is ok, but in rankeds if you leave before the banner recover expired then ban hammer for you... or was a queue delay? can't remember but this info is in rankeds post.
there is some exceptions like someone leave before you. - @ElBirri Is the banning system even implemented, what are the conditions for a ban? People are still constantly leaving games.
- @Neil_Enbob Yea i doubt it is because as i said yesterday i left 20 something games trying to get matched with players as potato as me and got 0 warning and 0 consequences. It'd be weird to start banning people if you dont even warn about it
