I agree we need solos. I agree matchmaking is crap. I'm not at all convinced that the former is a solution for the latter. Pretty sure you can have crap matchmaking in a solos gametype. Pretty sure you WILL have crap matchmaking in a solos gametype, if one ever comes along.
Lastly: third partying is not a problem that needs fixing. It is a legitimate strategy and a design feature of all multi-team games. If third partying is a deal-breaker for you then there's a serious possibility that you invested in the wrong game.

@reconzero Matchmaking is the single biggest issue with this game for casual and 'average' players. Nothing else matters all that much to me as a solo queue player with a KDR around 1.0. I didn't play hardcore and I won't play a solo mode because I am just not good enough to win 1v1s with any consistency or carry a squad.
