@TXC_Rafael Basically, energy mags were removed after the sniper class was added, originally it was only light, heavy energy. This moved the triple take out of the energy class and i'm pretty sure the L-star used to use them too but that was reworked( So many buffs nerfs and reworks my memory gets a lil hazy with guns i don't care about).
So obviously this left only the havoc using energy mags...and having multiple energy mags strewn across the map for a previously deeply unpopular gun made no sense so they buffed the hell out of the havoc and removed energy mags from the loot pool...hence the mess we have today and the reason for this post.
In short, havoc needs a lower mag capacity if it aint requiring mag attachments.
The Havoc without any attachments performs like a fully kitted weapon.
-Simple recoil
-Large projectiles
-Minimal bullet drop
-Large mag
-High DPS
-Needs no attachments
In a game built around looting and building weapons, this gun is the definition of “problem”.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 this precisely , r99 has higher dps potential supposedly, but unless you’re aim bottint that’s irrelevant til you get at least a blue mag barrel stabe etc. havoc is ready to fry off the rip

@boy_Hoodle What do you mean by that? The R-99 seems to consistently shred players regardless of the user's skill level. Unless you're comparing an SMG to an Assault rifle when it comes to distance fights. You're not really clear on that so I don't know if you're intentionally being misleading or assuming everyone on the forum can follow your assumptions.
- 6 years ago@heme725 Yep and you have a movement advantage with the 99, no wind up time and a very quick reload. Plus the 99 is pretty accurate with a good barel mod.
Speaking on drops, any weapon melts when you have no armour.
