Duel wielding

So I noticed in one of crypto’s poses he’s duel wielding pistols of some sort. I think this needs to be a thing for the mozambique, p2020, wingman, re-45 and alternator. Reduced accuracy (obviously) and if you choose to duel wield you use both slots. So no one is running around with three weapons just don’t add it as a hop-up as people want. I think it should be an in game mechanic not a hop-up. I know it’s completely unconfirmed and just speculation by everyone. Just that would be a nice thing to add in.

  • People running around with TWO hammer point P2020's???? THE HORROR!!!!

Haha but honestly this could be a neat idea. It would be a bold decision to run duel pistols but would pay off in a close quarters situation. In saying that you can absolutely melt people with one fully kitted RE-45, so being able to hold two might be extremely OP, even without the ability to ADS.

The RE-45 has become a beast of a handgun. Duel wielding of that would be some John Wick Apex Legendary stuff.

  • Just curious, in your guy's opinion would the duel weapons be set to fire simultaneously with normal fire or would the left and right weapons be bound separately to normal fire and ADS (I've played games where both have been implemented)?

I think it should be optional. Can select either which works for you. I like dual, but also like rapid simultaneously.

  • But then it's a question of how the reloading would work. IMO the best way to implement duel wield would be to have the weapons fire and reload simultaneously, so there would be an equal trade off from the double damage to the reduced accuracy and doubled reloading time (assuming the reload time was doubled). Having the weapons separate in firing and reloading would give the user a lot more versatility in terms of how they use it (and would be so much more fun to use). Either fire them at the same time or alternate firing and reloading for a constant volley of bullets. This would however present an unbalanced trade off.

Anyone using duel wield would prefer separated, anyone going against it would want simultaneous.
