dumbest video gamers I ever saw in my life.

Been gaming on pc since 1986.  and I never seen noobs so bad ever.   I mean the worst gamers I've ever seen!!!  Its like they never even played a pc fps game before.  Where do they all come from?  how is this possible!?!?!?

I admit I never played pubg and fortnite.  Is this what its like there too?

From what I've read pubg has skill matching and solo drops.  This game probably needs that too.  I'm starting to lose my patience.  If I thought it was bad when the game first came out.  Its only getting worse.  I have no friends to play with.

I mean i'm an old quake and UT and cs gamer.   Most recently playing titanfall 2 and bfv.   Never have I seen such horribly low skilled unintelligent players.

In this game its so bad most of my team just runs to the enemy like moths to the flame while trolling on the mic,  and die the first couple minutes of a match.    Every match ends up with me doing like 600 dmg with a some kills,  and my teamates doing jack squat.   0-40 dmg.     They don't loot nothing  they just run to the enemy before they even have decent weapon or shield.   wtf is going on.

Solo drops or skill matching or no way I'm going to last playing this game with apes for teamates.

lol I am one of those filthy noobs you described and i too want a proper matchmaking system in this game. ffs its like me as gold rank in Overwatch being matched vs grand masters all the time. I dont want to ruin other players games who are clearly way way better than i am or will ever be its just how life works. I just want to play with players who suck just like me and we create our own ecosystem were we thrive on our own. Or maybe is this how all BR games work like, jeez, glad i never tried Fortnite.

you know, the competitive player dont want to be matched with you/us, the competitive player wants to be matched against you/us.

if there be an good matchmaking system to meet somewhat equals i´ll bet a penny or two that them sweaty tryhards will cry all over facing other skilled players 😉

think it happend in BO3 if i remember it, they had to withdraw it after a day or two, awesome players going negative on their k/d hurting the e-peen was hilarious :D

Absolutely not.  Pwning people is not competitive or worthwhile to a good player either.  Thats only gratifying to an online troll.      A competitve player wants competitive matches.   Something RIOT does the best at ensuring with league of legends.

Respawn should not cave to that pressure if it happens.  They should ignore the russian troll farms that would spam the forum over it.  Just like the increase in cheater threads after respawn has cleaned house!   The amount of players that would stay would outweigh the couple trolls that don't want competitive matches.

Then again maybe thats what BR communities are like.  I wouldn't know.   Maybe they are just very uncompetitive compared to moba communities.   Maybe thats why titanfall 2 didn't get many players.    Maybe its just a diff generation nowadays.

Can'st say its an fps thing to be noncompetitive though.  because look at cs:go.

Try to find some people you enjoy playing with and add them to your Origin friends list. That's what I've done.

Playing Apex must be a bit like being stuck in a washing machine, where you are going round and round in circles joining matches, getting killed quickly and then rinse and repeat.

In that cycle, if you don't find a way to play well, you will find it difficult to improve your social situation. So aim to improve the outcome of your matches and you will most likely meet better players to make friends with. Which means being the best possible kind of teammate, yourself, in the first place.

How?  I was in a squad, we won, we all liked each other and could not for the life of me figure out how to add each other??

The in game screen name is not the name on the account because when I typed in their names which i took pictures of, it said that player account didnt exist or something along those lines.

I have tried to add several people and every time get a message the accounts dont exist.

What is the exact step by step process for adding someone to a friends list in game?

Yes my little 9 y ear old niece told me all her friends play fortnite.  Thats so scary to me because of how many bullies and toxic players are on this game spamming chat and talking on mic.  Or the internet in general.   She doesn't play these games or socialize online yet thank goodness.  She plays minecraft offline.    Wonder what some of these kids are gonna grow up like.  We gonna have a world of sociopaths soon.

I'm not sure how do it in game either man.  I did add one guy to my origin that I gamed with by typing it into origin.  finding his profile and adding him as friend.

I remember that well. The "I want to not have to try, and be able to smash noobs all day, because they have to learn. I've earned this right" and the classic,  "I shouldn't have to try hard against other tryhards, because they're sweats and I'm not". They dare not have a sub 2.0 K/D. Epeen for life lol.

The following is from a guide on EA Help which you can find here.

To add friends to your Friend List:

    1. Open the Origin application and click Friends on the menu bar.
    2. Click Add a Friend…
    3. Search for your friends by their Public ID (that’s their EA Account ID), their real name, or their email address.

Once your friend’s profile pops up:

    1. Hover over their Avatar and click on View Profile.
    2. In the top right corner, click Send friend request.
      • You’ll be friends with each other on Origin as soon as they accept your request.

This I knew.  I thought there was a way to do it in the apex legends game as well.  without having to do all of this.  But I guess there is not,  no big deal for me.  But apparently a hassle for some.

But these people I wouldn't label as competitive.  The are the opposite of competitive.  Take real life ball courts in your local park for example.    People don't act like this in real life because it is not fun.  Its not productive, its nost satisfying at all.   Anybody who has played athletic sports,  and respects video games as much as europeans and americans respect football, understand this.

This is something that RIOT understood very well.  Their definition of competitive,  is the actual correct definition.  And they do every thing they can to ensure "competitive" matches.  Meaning a match where either side has a valid chance to win,  and where people are matched up according to league level and people undermining those matchups, are banned.

The online nerd definition of competitive has become highly distorted,  which is the view henx666 has illustrated by calling such a people competitive.
