EA and Respawn Release Input Statistics
I’ll summarize the takeaways with two bullet points.
• EA and Respawn must provide side by side statistical comparisons of inputs from CGE, weapons, and analytics teams this week to take a temperature reading on the situation. This must include Time played, Win to Loss Ratio, Kill to Death Ratio, Weapon Accuracy, and Input used to achieve the result.
• Watch video number 5 and understand this is literally the how poor the quality of life is for Mouse and Keyboard players
This is no longer a debate. The community deserves transparency from EA and Respawn by releasing the statistics in a timely fashion.
I wish the devs would put effort into competitive integrity issues that make new players want to quit.
The community needs a healthy game to keep players around. A guide is great and all but it’s largely not what new players need. If a player is playing with a real life friend and they keep getting one clipped and they feel they are bringing the team down they will quit. Nobody wants to be the IRL friend that gets ghosted on patch days.
The new players aren’t even playing the game wrong. The amount of aim assistance in the game creates unreal disadvantages and exaggerates how bad a new players decision actually was. A game with lower aim assistance means players live longer. Which means players are less stressed and get to learn from mistakes and get to see different phases of the match. No more getting ghosted by IRL friends means a better quality of life inside and outside of the game.
Aim assistance nerf will fix 20 different competitive integrity issues, incentivize new players to continue playing, and even start to bring new professionals into the community.
Here we are currently..
It’s time for EA and Respawn to commit to transparency and competitive integrity by responding to community feedback in a timely fashion
Those are videos from PC: 1) and 2) both examples when casual mouse and keyboard players say the game plays itself while aim assist players watch.

Currently, all mouse and keyboard professional players have swapped and feel forced to swap to controller because of the over powered state of aim assist, only 18 MnK pros remain.
“Apex Legends developer John ‘JayBiebs’ Larson, who is a controller player himself, is fully aware of the advantages that aim assist brings to the table. He said, “When I see top-level controller players saying they would be alright with nerfing aim assist, I definitely take note. Players should not feel forced to use a specific input type, and if I see players converting out of what they think is necessity, I would 100% be concerned. In fact, I’m meeting with CGE, weapons, and analytics teams this week to take a temperature reading on the situation.”
I agree with the statement. Mouse and keyboard players should not be forced to swap but they do feel they need to swap and are swapping because of aim assistance. So here’s the temperature check. THERE ARE ONLY 18 PRO MNK PLAYERS LEFT.
