EA and Respawn wonders why everyone hates them so much ?
A few weeks ago maybe a month or two I watched a Youtube vid about why people dislike EA so much...Well I didnt rly care much about it but today I can understand why and I think I fall into that category as well. You released this Iron Crown event which I think its great and i really hope solos become a permanent mode because Its fun. It has a few problems like noobs teaming up and the usual hacking toilet bowls but its a great addition to the game.
Now the part i hate the most is the fact that you hyped up a bunch of awesome skins and when I say awesome i mean they are literally the BEST skins in this game so far. Look at the lifeline skin..its amazing. Your art design team should be proud of their work. BUT then comes the part which you didnt mention...the fact that its behind a massive paywall..having to pay 7 dollars for one pack which then does not guarantee you the actual skin you want its absolutely a disgusting greedy practice and all you are doing is showing exactly why you are hated so much. You dont give a crap about your customer base and this event has made it clear as all hell. Having to spend almost 200 dollars just to have the heirloom is absurd and whoever thought it was a good idea honestly is completely disconnected with the player base.
I have no problems with loot boxes at all. I spend around 500 dollars myself just to get the damn wraith knife and I have no regrets because I love Apex and its by far one of the best BR games i have ever played. This new system however leaves nothing but a sour taste in my mouth and it makes me dislike Respawn and EA with a passion. You are feeding people with a gambling problem. This does nothing but draw it people who cannot help themselves. You honestly should be ashamed of yourselves and I hope you learn a lesson from this. I hope people boycott this rubbish because it is nothing but a money-grab. EA has absolutely no morals.
If you defend this you are part of the problem and you need to rethink about what this greedy practices does to gaming in general. I was looking forward to these skins but i refuse to fork out such an insane amount of money just for some pixels. Never did I agree that loot boxes should be illegal because it draws in people with gambling problems but I think after this stunt I stand with people that want it gone.
There is a limit to everything and you guys crossed that line by miles with this bs.
