Overlays and such aren't really officially supported from what I know, so they don't really make any fixes for games that have functions that could mess with these types of things.
The issues with these overlays aren't always related with the game itself, it's pretty much the responsibility for the one that made the overlay to make it so it functions properly.
Best bet would be to hit up some support from the communities of these overlays and see if anyone else has experienced this and if they've found a fix for it.
