Ea charging me after ban

I got banned on ea and I still do not know the reason as i have requested support numerous times and they have not responded with a reason for my ban.  Not only did this cause me to lose countless hours of progression and thousands of dollars on apex alone, but they are also continuing to charge my ea play every single month without giving me the option to cancel because “my account is banned”.  Is there any way I can just delete my account after it is banned so ea can stop charging me or a way that I can actually see what I was banned for?

  • That sucks. I know this sounds really negative but knowing EA they probably won’t respond after a week, then redirect you to another website from EA where you’ll have to submit another form about why you think your account shouldn’t be banned, then they’ll just ignore you for weeks, so you try again and again then they just suspend your account because they don’t care about the average Joe player and just want money. I’m sorry that sounded extremely negative and harsh but that’s most likely the truth.

  • Here’s an example of another player getting banned for a stupid reason and the help forum not doing anything about it

All the available information relating to your ban would have been communicated to you via the email associated with your EA account.

You can also check out your ban history here, but please note not all bans may appear here:

    https://help.ea.com/en/my-ban-history/

The EA staff who work here on AHQ cannot help you directly with account-related issues, such as bans, only the TOS team can help you.

If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, the only thing you can do is to dispute any action taken against your EA account by following the steps in this article:

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

There is also this AHQ guide on bans and suspensions :

It is my understanding that you can appeal a ban a number of times.

I don't think you can get access to your account after a ban, unless the ban is overturned. It is an odd situation that you are still bring charged and have no access to any aspect of the EA platform.

If you are positively resigned to ending the EA account, the only thing I can thing of is that you contact your bank or credit card, who make the payment on your behalf and talk to them.

I pointed that put to the poster you linked, giving them the correct information as to how bans are delt with by EA, and what to do. That is all that can be done here.

As to the stated reason for the ban, as stated, you are ultimately responsible for your account and have to deal with the consequences should you relinquish that responsibility.

I would agree that it is a very hard lesson, but why is it so easy for you to ignore the other players who have apparently been on the receiving end of abuse that breached the tos?

  • @4847606 Should have probably mentioned a copy and paste response too. I’ve heard these 2 responses on several forums in the past week
  • @g2vin i don't know which platform you are on but I'm sure there is away to cancel the auto payment for EA service with the platform you are using for payment.
as an example, on PlayStation, if you sub for PS Plus service it will renew annually through Paypal.
if use is banned from PlayStation and can not login then can cancel the auto payment through PayPal
  • What was said to get permanently banned? It was either absolutely awful or you've had multiple offenses to get perma banned
