The truth is that they don't care.
They don't add solo mode because they don't care.
They don't fix the servers because they don't care.
This game is great but it is run by unpresentable people.
There are not Duos matchmaking for me in South America, I have to play 1 vs 3 95% of the time, and now the server problems.
The question would be: why do we keep playing this game? (or trying to play).
Dev and QA back at home:
Wife: How was your day honey ? Why you look so stressfull.
Dev/QA: Horrible, the servers are so bad, and my boss ask me to cover its ripple effect issues over the weekend.
Wife: WHAT ?? We already have plan this weekend with the kids, it's very important for them.

Dev/QA (trying to calm down): No honey, family is most important, I will tell my boss about this.
They can fire me if they want, I will just find another job.

Dev/QA: Sure, I will tell them on next meeting.
Friday morning stand up meeting:
CEO : Dev&WA, can you guys fix by weekend ?
Dev/QA: Sorry boss, our family already had a plan for trip this weekend, we can't cancel in the last minute.
The change is also is not as trivial. We need to find out and fix the root cause of the crash as well, not just the side effect of it.
CEO: Understood, that make me can't sleep last night. How long will it take ?
Dev/QA: If we push really hard, we might able to pull it off by Sept 22nd.
CEO: Hmm, that's one week, seems like forever, but we don't have choice, let communicate.
