Emergency Meeting S8 : Where is MY anniversary gift ?

Design/QA: I thought we have smooth launch this time, what is the problem now ?

CEO:  Yes, I "temporarly" stop doing crazy thing so we had succesfull launch, but that's not the reason why I call this meeting.

Marketing: Community asking about 2 years anniversary gift and we were explaining that we're the one having anniversary so we will should get $180 gift for easy recolor. We just give them BLM icon as treat or trick, Unfortunately they don't like it at all !

CEO : Hmmm, some people don't care about the movement, especially badge, even my kid never put them in.

           So What is your idea guys ? We need to give them some bait to so they willing to spend a lot of money on recolor !

Marketing: How about if we give them a lot of regular packs so they want some more.

CEO: Regular packs to get big fish ? That won't cut it, we need to go BIG !

Marketing: How about give them 2 free Anniversary packs, but they need to earn it though.

Design: We have Caustic town take over ready and we've new LTM ready as well for Feb 9th. 

             We can easily change from regular to anniversary pack......done !

CEO: Great, Let me see, can you present it ?

Design: Sure boss.

CEO: That looks cool, Mozambique only, gonna be MEME LTM for sure. 

QA : Well, we're not a good player so I'm not sure about the experience though, but the reward is so good, they will grind no matter how frustating it's.

CEO: You're right, let's celebrate on Feb 9th !

    CEO : Guys , guys, guys, what is the 50% discount people screaming about ??

    QA: I've NO IDEA, We didn't discuss that in design and previous meeting , NOT MY FAULT !

    Marketing:  Oppss, we come out in the last minute since it doesn't make sense to craft recolor with full crafting material.

    CEO: Make sense, but why you didn't ask for my approval ?

    Marketing: Sorry boss, we slip it in the printing press release, and tell dev to put it but forget to tell you and QA guys to test !

    CEO: Oh MY GOD !  This's so embarrassing. How to do now ?

    Dev: No worries boss, the price is on the server, we can fix it quickly......done

    CEO: Great, you save us once again, this's time is not my fault.

              Marketing, since this's your mistake, you need to make up something.

    Marketing:  Hmmm, I would just say this was initially plan for future event but we're giving it now.

    CEO: Great escuse that always works but is that means we're going to get another recolor event ?

    Marketing: Yes, boss, coming next month, March 2nd, it's called Chaos Theory, we will bring back Iron Crown recolor !

    CEO: Cool, perfect, we dodge the bullet once again ! 

              We become so good at this, LOL.

    CEO: Our bait is a success, we able to do minimum work and get maximum profit.

    Marketing, YES, they like 2 free packs, 50% discount and they willing to spend their precious craft for recolor and bought some package deal!

    Dev: This time we don't see any pushback regarding LTM, they like the idea as well.

    QA: Let's do this again on next recolor event. 

    CEO: Agree. It's getting late now and tonight is Chinese New Year Eve,

    Happy Chinese New Year guys !

    Marketing: Boss, people want us to extend the event one more week.

    CEO: Chinese new year ussually bring big rain and flood back in Asia. But in US, we got snow strom and freezing temperature !

    Marketing: Yeah, Texas people are caught off guard, they don't have snow plow, don't know how to drive in snow, power outage in freezing temperature, pipe burst, food shortage, water shortage but despite desperate time, they still remember about Apex free anniversary packs!!

    CEO: I'm impressed how much they love and hate us at the same time.

    Marketing: We have so much issue with S-8 stability, lag, disconnect, crashes, etc

    CEO: Let's extend it, no big deal.

    Dev: Updating end date on the server , DONE !

    CEO: Cool, our next event will right after this one, March 9th, back to back. Enjoy your 1 week break.

    @asukojo wait , did they really extend it ???
    yesterday I was feeling so bad as I didn't finish all the event challenges

    @maximas1986 Why you haven't finish the event challenges ??  Are you in Texas as well ?

    Yes, they push a client patch this morning so you see the event expired 1 week from today.

    I was expecting server patch but seems there's inconsistency so they push client patch as well.
