i dont even play ranked anymore. I wish this game just had a leaderboard and removed rank. It means nothing in a BR game.

Ranked imo mattered when I started as only tool to separate players with skill gaps = when 1.5 tier difference was in place ensuring that e.g. me like Diamond+ never players gold players who are basically bots to me given the skill difference and effort they play vs how I play.
These days / after cancelling 1.5 tier protection, making major changes to matchmaking and even more so hacking issue - it does not mean anything besides:
Leader board that this point would make sense yet there is a big drawback for Respawn = leaderboard has limited opportunities to have any sort of badges :) and people here like badges. A LOT. Look at this BS with whever that glowing thing on legends backs are now these days...I saw it and my first thought legit was "if I can't turn it off, I will not play this game".

Yeah the AURA was insanely stupid addition I thought it was so hilarious when they remove ranked divetrails cuz you were able to turn it off just because people were hunting some high rank players like what in a game that has so many cheaters who cares bout someone's trail and if it bothers u just turn it off. Recent changes are so bad like the game itself doesn't even feel like apex no longer... I went solo master s17 (not campin) s18 s19. And I can tell this season example ranked is unplayable so many cheaters even in low rank lobbies. Some seasons ranked has been okay but some yeah I know exactly what u mean cheaters in higher ranks that's a fact. Pred rank like almost everyone is wallin especially on PC I have tons of clips how they instantly find u miles away no matter where u are, maybe they just have better gamingchairs LOL. matchmakin is also absolute horror useless fills match after match soloQ has never been as painful as it is now, when u forced to play against cheaters pretty much every single match. nro 1 console pred just got banned yesterday it tells a lot if u able to play for nro 1 pred that long before banhammer.
Meanwhile, on Reddit they continue to celebrate everything, and if you write anything bad about the game, you are immediately crushed by that community.
