Yeah, the cheating is definitely out of control and is probably why most are leaving. When I first started apex back in season 16 it was like you rarely even saw a cheater, and when you did it was a memorable rare occurrence. Now, it feels like they have completely taken the game over. You can go like 5 or 6 games in a row with cheater lobbies before getting one that is legit without people with aimbot and zero recoil. If they can't stop all of these cheaters then they need to just legalize these boxes and hacks so that it is no longer cheating and everyone can have an equal chance. Let's hope it gets better. I think before they work on reworking maps like Olympus and developing new modes they need to get a handle on the cheater situation fast or the game will keep losing players.

They've always ignored real problems by editing or adding a new map, a new legend, or some new event with a heirloom or mythic skin.
Do you think this will change? I don't, but streamers are starting to talk about it more and more on YouTube, so maybe they're only now starting to think about it.
So far, they haven't even been able to publicly announce that they're aware of how serious this problem is and are working on it. Nothing, zero information, just complete ignorance.
Legit players - "Let's see what's going on with the game, how many cheaters have taken over various game modes."
Respawn/EA - "A new event with another heirloom will appear next week."
This is pretty much how it's been for "x" amount of time. Is this supposed to be serious about players? If they CAN'T deal with this and there will be more and more cheaters, then they should just say it clearly and people like me who are still waiting for something good to happen in this matter will just leave and uninstall this game.

Best Thing is as always the Matchmaking Update Blog.
A treasure trove of jokes.
Best one this time is :
"The suggestion is a good one, in a world where there are enough solo queue players and premade squad players to keep the matchmaking close to where it is now."
Newsflash :
There were more than enough people playing when players started to demand such a thing, wonder why it wasn't possible back then.
Oh wait, Matchmaking was never about what players wanted, and never will be.
Same as AA never was about competitive integrity.- vVv_Bjoergen_vVv8 days agoSeasoned Veteran
Matchmaking hasn't existed for a long time.
I'll keep repeating this until I get the point: if you have above-average skill and are playing solo, the game will do everything possible to make you feel like garbage, playing against an entire 4k 20b lobby, and getting significantly weaker teammates.
And start respecting that some people don't want to play in a 3-stack. For example, when I tried to play in a full team, I always played much worse because I felt more pressured not to let my friends down, so I prefer playing solo q, but right now it's so **bleep** it's beyond words.
