Evo shield modification

Okay, let me make it perfectly clear beforehand. If I see an evo shield, I pick it up. I’m the kind of guy who holds on to an evo shield (even if no dmg has been done yet) and ping you a purple armor (actually did that earlier today and there was a blue armor next to it so my team was well suited). With that in mind, let me start my thread.

Evo shields are too easy to master. I’m not kidding, usually when I find one and kill 2 or a squad, I’m already at purple and almost at orange/red... This is without thirsting seeing as it takes 75 for blue, 150/200 for purple and 400 for red/orange. Taking out a full normal armored squad is 450. So yea. It’s commonplace to already have purple within 1/2 minutes if I find one right away with an engaging squad.

This makes me believe that in order for this armor to actually represent ‘skill’ you have to do more damage to get it orange-red. Cause initially it was promoted as a ‘risk rewarded’ item so to speak. If I can do it this easily, other better players can also do it and even low skilled players can do it without much difficulty.

I know when it was introduced it was much harder to get it to the last stage. I want either that or somewhere between how it’s now and how it was back then cause now every Johny Appleseed can equip it and have a bulk of health. The dark side is also low skilled players picking it up and dying quickly because they were at the normal or blue stage, enemy picks it up, continues to fire and goes purple or orange red on your bum... all thanks to your teammate who should’ve never had that armor to begin with.

What is your opinion?
