Experience after winning 1,000 games

I recently won my 1,000th career game in Apex. It's quite the feat, but no badge huh? So ... I'm not the best player in the world, steady 1 KDR dude, played over 27,000 games.

Since that win I am getting stomped in every game. It's not even funny. As soon as I see someone, I'm dead. Poke my head out from behind a rock, blam, headshot. Any 1 v 1? I'm dead. Enemies see my team? We're dead. In one game a Pathy did not miss a shot while swinging by me like a metal tarzan. Blam, blam, blam.

In 30 games, I got 3 kills. Pubs, ranked (am Silver II) doesn't matter. Lobby, load, drop, die.

Mixtape, no difference since reaching 1,000 BR games. I only play TDM and Gun Run and it's the same as ever, I usually get 10 or so kills, usually top two in my team for kills and damage.

I thought I'd taken a sudden loss of ability so I loaded up my nephew's account which he hasn't used for a year, level 150 or something first time around. Played four games, six kills.

Back to my main account. Lobby, load, drop, die, repeat.

Do I now have to start all over again just to be able to play this game and not die within seconds?

  • @hayhorWeirdly, everything was back to normal today, even got two dubs and got to Silver I. What a weird stretch of games that was.

Did you end up playing late when having issues?

I notice later at night that the game some days is completely unplayable. Like I’m playing on a completely different server then my opponents. They literally get one full second of “peekers”advantage.

  • @RaginSam No, I was playing at my normal times. It lasted for about two to three days. Yesterday, I was playing slightly above (my) average, even won the final 1v1 with everyone else dead/knocked for a win. For three days I basically couldn't move from behind cover without dying.

Everything you have described in your post is EXACTLY what my experience has been without fail since season 20 started. It is why I went from playing religiously everyday to once every 3 days for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of being at the expense of others, I turn off and try again 3 or so days later, in hopes the game returns to feeling like it used to.

I blame poor servers, bad MM and ridiculous amounts of cheaters.

@ComicBookGuy2727 Sorry to hear that ☹️

Hit reg was really bad during those games too. My best fighting technique (as Fuse) is to fight from distance (I can only do CQC with the Hemlock, R301 or Nemesis) and I've gotten pretty lethal with a TT, G7 or 30-30. During that spell literally nothing was hitting. I could empty a G7 clip and not get a hit. It was almost funny.

I didn't usually experience poor hit reg, however this season 21, for me its impossible to play. Along with getting cover and then 3 to 4 seconds later my guy just gets boxed while I've been in full cover for a bit. lol.

Never seen anything to that degree before.
