As the title says, what's everyone's favorite POI on KC and why? I personally like Caustic treatment because there's plenty of loot for the squad, it's not too crowded, and there's a jump tower in the back. Also, there are some other POI's that are not too far from there. Only crappy part would be if the next circle was on the opposite side of the map.

@dSKyNafinchin I‘be actually had a decent amount of success with the 2020 off drop. It’s really satisfying beating someone (or a few) with it. The P2020 is great if you strafe a lot. Tbh, the worst guns off drop for me would probably be the mozam, then triple take and finally L star.

I love fighting in the spotted lake buildings.HOWEVER, my complaints about KC not having enough cover is still alive and well in the actual lake. Just imagine an end circle in this spot that can’t hold more than 5 squads in the last 2 circles.

Repulsor's a personal favorite. Fun to fight in and a good amount of options considering the relatively simple geometry.

@BigMacAttack8u Yeah, cause I’m a noob and I only get noob lobbies where Caustic traps are OP as hell and people in these lobbies actually die from damage the gas drums emit.

The area in the northwest corner that used to be called Slum Lakes. Can't remember the new name, but, just like World's Edge, the northeast corner of the map is the guaranteed charge rifle and/or tripletake. And as you said about the gas works, there's plenty of other loot for the rest of the squad, and relatively few other squads seem interested unless the drop line starts right over this corner. Oh, and there's quick access out via a new jump tower just in case the first circle is a long way off.

Though I also love Repulsor because of the Pathfinder-friendly high wall around it. The new access points make it pretty friendly to all legends now, but somehow people don't seem to be taking much advantage. I guess if you haven't spent three years thinking about how to get to high places (and why you might want to) then you just don't bother going there. So much the better for me.

@swift07 This is really tough for me. I enjoy dropping at pretty much every poi on that map provided there are 3 or less teams. The only pois I can think of that I hate dropping to are market and the crappy buildings on the hill at the top of bunker.

@swift07 I really like the little town behind bunker, because that feels like the most uniquely Kings Canyon thing. Also bunker because I like caustic, but it hasn’t been fun lately now that has traps are 🗑️

@swift07I'm partial to the pit hardly anyone goes there off drop, there's plenty of loot, and quite access to rotate to an area with a gold item and several other locations thar are guaranteed to have fighting making for a good third party opportunity.

@reconzero I think I know what you're talking about. Nobody lands there, and most of the time, nobody lands near that area.

Repulsor has a nice design but it's far from everything else. I prefer to land somewhat near opponents, so I can get into some action.

@hayhor yeah, not a huge fan of market or those "crappy buildings". Btw, when I think of 3rd party central, I think of that area where those crappy buildings are. There's so many entry points in that area.

@Cheese9Man yeah, I like that area myself. I've landed there a lot of times and it seems like a good area for combat, as long as there aren't more than 2 other teams there.

The majority of the map doesn't have enough cover tbh, and I hate that every PoI has so many entry points. Sometimes you can't even breathe because it's so many teams in an area. I wished the PoI's were more spread out and empty areas in between had more cover. That would make KC a better map, in terms of gameplay.

@DK9027 lol yeah, I don't think people consider that a destination. I feel like people land everywhere around the pit but pass through pit to get more loot or get to other PoI's.

Smh at third partying lol. I feel like third partying is more prevalent in this game than other popular BR's. My guess is because of the higher HP. When people third party on this game, they move in when the target's shield is cracked or they're low on HP, giving the attacker advantage. Other games like Fortnite and Warzone, the TTK is much faster, so people are hesitant about third partying because even if they crack shield or get the target's HP low, the opponent still has a good chance of winning.
