Favorite weapon ping system??

I'm sure something of this sort has been discussed on here at some point, but my forum search proved futile.

I can't help but wish for some sort of system where you can select 1 or 2 guns as your "favorite/preferred" weapons in the lobby. Then, during matches, you could bring up your inventory, and ping that you are looking for that specific weapon, or weapons. I typically use the same couple guns in every match, and I would love to have some way to let randoms know what guns I am after, when my squad isn't online. I am not sure if anyone else would like this feature, but I definitely would! Maybe it could be implemented via the emote wheel, instead of your inventory? I think that being able to ping ANY weapon during matches, would just be too cluttered, but I would love to be able to select one or two favorites. (I love that they made it to where you can ping a white backpack, to let your squad know you need a better one, but feel like this could still be expanded upon, in the future)

Just a thought that I wanted to get out. Any thoughts or opinions? Again, my apologies if this has already been discussed, I just did not see it when I searched.
