New ranked system is so bad its like playin solo without premade team with this matchmaking its impossible to rank up... my last 5 fills = 10 players made 0dmg, 42dmg,... u see where this is goin not a single kill. I think it's time to uninstall apex for good. Also when u get rookie and bronze 4 when u r silver 2 as teammate how that suppose to be correct matchmakin and enemies all like gold 2 = last season mastersI bet im not the only one with this same problem.no the best fill during whole ranked season 11 made 2 kills not 1 and 299 not 290. Its not about ranking up for me, its more of how I have to play to get my RP. The game reward rats a bit too much right now imo.

@Gabrielmojo26 Here is my honest opinion, and it bears repeating. Apex Legends should be a team game, on that I think everyone agrees on and that is how it is advertised. To avoid problems the best way to do this is to have a 3 person premade because that is where the game is balanced to right now.If you are not on a premade, you have to deal with all the potential problems that come with that, the major one being if you want to rank up, you can be pulled back by bad team mates. So you either have to really get into carrying team members or go off on your own. The first choice is WAY harder, to carry your mates, though of course that is what you 'should' be doing. I'm being real here, I'm not expressing a personal preference.The old scoring system did protect you to a degree, in that you could not derank, which meant say I get to plat or diamond IV by my lonesome. Then, if I chose, I could try to play with my team mates and learn.The new scoring system has two things that I think Respawn believed would enhance team play, but I believe will hurt it. First, the high cost of entry. I was just saying on another thread that at Silver II, it costs -33 RP to enter. That is nearly the cost of old Platinum at -36. So you MUST score more RP to advance, right? And the belief was that it would come from team kill points that everyone shared.Here's the flaws I see....if you work together as a team, how many extra kills are you really going to achieve? Perhaps you will get 1-2 more? I really don't know. But there's a problem with that....you still must place high to get the proper amount of RP. So if you do option 2, wander off on your own, well (and I don't mean to be negative) you are going to place higher and get any kills of your other two team mates added to your credit. Which you probably very badly want because of the high entry cost. In fact, your buddies are probably going to stick around as grayed out boxes more because they got some kills early on, but they need you to carry them to higher placement. Same exact problem as in the old scoring system, but now even more emphasis on solo play.Those are the biggest problems I see, namely because Apex is the same game, it's just the Ranked scoring system that is different. To get non-premades to want to play together is going to take some other core mechanic problem entirely. Something, and I'm not saying it's perfect, but imagine you got an armor buff if you rezed a team mate. Or you got like a gun upgrade for respawning someone. Maybe when you were in a certain proximity to your team mates, you would get shield and health regen (not a big regen, but enough). These are more the kind of ideas that are needed, and I think they would go far better rewarding people for team play rather than trying to punish them into it. Positive, ahem, reinforcement.

They are still putting you in lobbies with not a full team vs a bunch of diamond and higher tier players. Dumb. The matchmaking system is horrible as well. As proven by the link i posted.

@Abyssloli I wouldnt complain if matchmakin would work as it should but same as last season my best fill made 290dmg 1 kill... grind basically alone for Diamond 2 -_- bein kill leader alone in dia lobbies multiple time. This new ranked system workin only for premade teams soloque has never been as bad as its now.

I get it its tough, and I do not know how you and your team played the game but I imagine you had at least 1-3 KP before hitting 13-12th place. Maybe ensuring getting to 10th instead of risking another fight would have ensured positive RP. A mix of KP and placement is where the skill is now.

Players seem to be jumping the gun on this one, it's early split, ranks are all messed up. I have no issues climbing ranks right now, is it slower, yes, am I still climbing, the answer is yes, and that regardless of really bad teammates insta dying.
It's pretty self explanatory, the more you climb, the better teammates you get matched with, even if you're a solo player.

@Gabrielmojo26 Same for me. Moving up a little slower, but not having issues. I was only able to play for around 2 hours last night, but I didn't have any complaints about the changes from that small session. Got a couple wins, good kills, and got lucky and had decent/good randoms for most of my matches. Got a decent amount of participation RP from my random's kills. Moved up nearly two divisions in the session last night. I'm sure I'll develop some complaints as I play more, but last night was fun.

Also, was surprised to not have any server issues. Updated the game, and played right away. Queue times were nearly instant. Nice change of pace for a season launch, Lol

@dSKyNafinchin Agreed, had a very similar experience last night, and for the most part, teammates were good. Kinda feel bad for the rookie rank, did kill a few, but most of them were bronze.

I'm actually really confident these changes will turn out to be good in the long run, players get really egotistical aiming for kills only, and throwing for placement. For once, really good players with skills, and game awareness, get rewarded.

@Abyssloli Mediocre players will rat, and lack skills to take on those last fights, they won't rank up. I don't know of many good players that utilize a rat'ing strategy tbh.
