Feels impossible to see any self-improvement

I play casual only, so take this with a hint of salt. I've been trying to implement things I've learned into my gameplay, but I honestly can't tell if I'm improving or not. I am almost always solo, ...

@Snugglez4u It's okay. First of all, being frustrated with the game is normal. You can always reach a plateau where you feel like you're not improving. That's just how things work. But as long as you keep playing, you will keep improving, even if you don't see it.
Though, of course, you can have bad days, or bad weeks even. Remember to take breaks if you feel frustrated. It's just a game after all.
And from my personal experience, breaks help A TON! I felt like this plenty of time, then took a break from Apex. And when I got back with a fresh, cool head, I was doing better

Also, Apex is a game with a HUGE skill gap. You will get absolutely destroyed by sweats. By pre-made sweats, oh boy. It gets to me as well, but that's just how it goes with the game's lifecycle. gotta get through it, ya kno

And of course, you mentioned your team. I don't want to sound like a douche, but yeah. Solo q-ing is a death sentence. You need teamwork in this game. Unless you're a sweat and can solo the whole server... But average people aren't that.
And from my experience, when you play with randoms... people do what they want. go where they want. Have stupid rushes, don't pay attention. Basically they play solo. It's very hard to find a good rando team. Hell, even if you get a sweat on your team, they will just run off and die, then DC istantly without you even getting the chance to come close for a revive.
And like you said, There are time for pushes. But one is a brainless push, one is a smart push. Unless, like I said, you're a sweat so you constantly w key

So when it comes to your team experience... Yeah, don't expect much of randoms. find yourself a team, makes for a much better experience. Hell, you even have a section on this forum where you can go look for a teammates! So don't give up
especially with the lack of SBMM. You will get a level 30 on your team against an apex pred. And it's okay to be a noob of course. But you can see when a noob wants to play like a teammate and when they want to play solo and do their thing

On the more positive note though, when you get to carry an absolutely oblivious, horrible team... It feels so good! Fills you with confidence. SO maybe you get to experience that too when you play with randos

So yeah, don't get discouraged. take a break if you need. But definitely find yourself a team
    Good luck!
