- Kyldenar4 years agoSeasoned Ace@DankToliet Targets either don't move, or move predictably.
They really need to put a real switch in for the dummies to be active, not a secret easter egg. - @DankToliet In the firing range you aren't shooting real people. Even when the dummies are moving it is quite predictable. And you are not getting shot back or moving much yourself.
- @DankToliet Your target in the firing also doesn’t lag or get no reg bullets. Lol.

@DankToliet When your firing at targets in the range you're solely focused on that task, whereas in game you're processing much more information.
So it could just be a psychological thing maybe?
In Respawn's Titanfall2, the aim-assist for single player was stronger than that for multi player.
So I won't be surprised if the same logic exists.
Anyway, Firing Range is the great training area, I am loving to play it. 🙂

The Firing Range as it is definitely gives a false impression of damage you can do enemies compared to real match scenarios like as many others have mentioned hitting a stationary target or one with predictable movement is a damn sight easier compared to enemies say that tap-strafe,crouch spam & various other movements as well as characters that rely on aerial abilities like Valkyrie or Loba or speedy characters like Octane & Wraith.I also think hit box sizes play a part which are bigger in the Firing Range.I actually liked the various Bangalore Challenges from a few weeks ago & think they or something similar should be more permanent in the Firing Range as they offer far better target/training practice.
- @DankToliet The other thing people do is grab guns and all the top attachments like purple barrel stabilizers which are rarely found in game. This makes a difference. The best thing to do is practice with nothing on the gun.
- @Kyldenar Didn't a recent update add more dummies, as well as add switches to active them, or is that coming next season? I thought it was already out, but I could very well be mistaken
- @dSKyNafinchin That was the leak. Lol. Wish they could bring back the running back and forth dummies from the Bangalore challenges.
