First Arena Match --Disappointed

Nice Job Respawn...

Congratulations on a very well made matchmaking mode for Arena.

Fantastic being solo against a team of 3.

Again, Good job. I could not hope for anything better.

By the way, no one left. I was solo from the beginning.

I definitely understand you. I keep telling myself that it is because of Matchmaking, in both BR and Arena mode.
I came to believe that it is all my fault when I cannot win (and kudos to my opponents for being better) because I have to improve to the point of being able to carry the team no matter what. It is taking a toll on me.

I'm not a fan of the arena mode myself. Half of my games were with one or more people missing on either side. And people tend to get the Spitfire so all I was seeing was bullet hell. Battle Royale mode doesn't seem it's greatest either, I'm having some unusually long queue times.

@Vdstrk In BR, it doesn't matter much if enemy is a duo or solo. Just a easy squad wipe, and you move on with the game because there is lots of squads to go around.

Leavers become a problem for both you and the enemies in Arena because there is no one else and it takes the fun out for both sides, mostly because there is multiple rounds.

I could also play a "rat" game in BR, and with some luck score a good placement --or as i prefer just yolo it.
In Arena, leavers become a problem, as you very well say.

They should have shipped it with ranked. And with the poor team filling/afk/leaving, its as if they take 1 step forward, 2 steps back. This game is so close in being great.

@Vdstrk I had the same, but after losing the 1st round, all my teammates left

I'm starting to suspect that it could have been a server issue? Given what is going on with servers, it would really not be a far fetch idea....

Arena main issue:
1. After got knock down, they simply HAVE NO PATIENT and LEFT !
2. After lost 1st round: My team is S*** and LEFT !
3. Once one player left then rest lost their morale, all left : BYE BYE !

I'm having a bad time playing arena. It may be miles better when teaming up though. Unless the enemy team quits after being downed once.....

Possible solution:
A. SELF REVIVE (Golden knockdown)
1. Give them 1 SELF Revive per match.
B. SECOND CHANCE !
1. Give them 1 Second chance per game.
2. Possibility to buy second chance.
C. AUTO BANNER with Mobile Respawn beacon.
This one is hard and won't work in small arena.
