@hayhor I'm jealous.. I keep looking for a Series X and still can't find any.. No way I'm paying more than $499.99+ tax for one.
I refuse to support console scalping in anyway. If only I owned microsoft. I'd only allow the consoles to be sold at retailers who will only sell 1 per address for the first 6 months of release.

@DarthValtrexThat wouldn’t matter much. Most stores it’s 1 per customer and at my game store it’s 1 per household... you can still circumvent it easily.
For 1 per email. Easy.
1) Multiple emails.
2) notify different ppl to order
upon picking up.
1) Come in at different times during 1 (or multiple days depending how many you secured) day
2) Let friends pick it up giving them the preorder slip or the email address
For 1 per household
1) multiple adreses...
obtaining:
Most ppl have more than 5 friends or relatives so do it on their adreses.
499+tax?! 499 period!
- DarthValtrex5 years agoHero (Retired)@Koochi-Q You have to pay tax in the US haha. Yeah I know people would try and get around it. But in the US certain big retailers did absolutely nothing. People used software to order as many as possible from the online stores as soon as they were released.
I tried to use it to get one from a retailer. Set it to attempt to buy on 3 different browsers all with in.5 seconds.. Basically had it set to attempt to buy .5 seconds before, and then moved the timing. Despite that I still missed out, they were sold out in a fraction of seconds.
If they really wanted to end the scalping of consoles and other hot toys during the holiday season they could.- 5 years ago@DarthValtrex Lolz I get paying tax, but why the over $500?
Xbox is an American product so good example. Price is $500 rsp. You would think that would be like 400 euro... but nooo they don’t look at conversion rate like that (filthy money grubbers >.>). What does it leave for Europeans (Suck a lemon UK with your high prices XD) it means it’s 4something + whatever taxes are in that country to make it €500. No more. So no €500 + tax. That would be absolutely BS. How come you have to do 500 + tax xD.
Yea they used programs all over. I used non and had 2 PS5 and 1 Xbox to my name but if I wanted to scalp, I could easily have at least 5 of each under my name from 2 stores only. With some luck, could maybe get a friend doing the same but that would be a gamble. So it was easily doable even when it was sold out within minutes here as well in multiple stores right of the bat xD.
They are trying to pass an international law to prevent scalping I read a month ago xD
