Friend request not working for apex(xbox to switch)

We are trying to play with each other, we even created an account but when we send a friend request there is no notification and it says we are offline. We are online, and the friend request worked ...

@EMARITO246 I had a similar problem before. The fix was to set up a club on the switch and then search for it on the xbox. Or vice versa. Then request to join. And friend. I think that was it. Could only play as club members as far as I can remember. 

Don't have that problem now though.
