I have been getting killed more often and faster than ever before! It's like me and whatever squad im with are just running for our life. Im not even making it to the ring closing. I check to see how I died and even though I was killed in a matter of seconds with purple armor it says I was hit 11 or 12 times with 2 different guns and I call bull. I know im not the best player in not apex predator by any means but I averaged 4 or 5 kills a game. Im lucky if I get 1! It was over night I started dying. My kill stop death ratio is trashed. I don't understand what is going on. It's like somehow we're marked or glowing for all to see. The other squads are not missing a shot and know where we are like immediately even in smoke. A few people have said they are having the same problems but anyone else and why?

@reconzero Ditto. I've played since S7 and I still can't figure out how the heck the MM is intended to work. I am not a fan of tinfoil hat theories, but sometimes the ones that swirl around for Apex MM can feel kinda real.

Having exactly the same issue. Was doing reasonably well (for me!) last season, and enjoying the game the most I have since I started, but this season sucks! Shields seem completely pointless, as they just disappear in a split second, followed just as quickly by my health bar. Most other players I come against are ridiculously accurate, even at range, not missing their shots and seemingly knowing exactly where I am.On the other hand, I seem to be matched with team mates who either get wiped as quickly as I do, or who seem to think that a team game is actually the100 yard dash for people with no sense of direction!Also seems that even when I do get the drop on my opponents, my shots don't seem to count as much as theirs and they just laser me down while I'm reloading. Even had one guy that i emptied 3 full clips from a 45 into them from behind, able to see the damage numbers streaming off them, but they refused to die and just kept running while i ran out of ammo!All in all, very frustrating, and getting difficult to even bring myself to play now.

It's the opposite for me. I am having more fun, people no longer laser me down immediately, I stand a chance, and I kill more. It was about time since I was waiting for this since like forever.

@uuuut6ea2ty6 Now, the Tokyo server is occupied by cheaters armed with various cheat programs, including converters, so even in rank and casual mode, not only normal users but also progamers are being knocked down by these cheaters. It's a really angry and ridiculous situation.

Another example enemy kill me with 144 and i have full purple and heal and me with all shots not knoked antone, is server problem or someone use cheat?

i swear sometimes the mmr isn't working or is disabled idk why.
last night i had like 10-15lobbies in a row filled with only level 1-50 players.
the weirdest part is ppl in thoses lobby actually play the game instead of all hotdropping and ending the game in less than 3Min.
had fun in pubs for the first time in 6month.

or maybe all the sweats 3stacks boosted sooooo much their kda with the 3strikes mode that we have less sweat in regular mm.

I can guarantee you that it's not me getting better at the game. In fact, before this season started, I was pretty much absent for like 7 or 8 months due to stick drift and Apex was unplayable. I only came back to try Ballistic out on S17 but I only played like 2 or 3 games.

I was just going to make a post about something like this so here I am snooping around the forum.
So I'm an old time Apex player S1 2 3 4 and a few others and left for a few and came back to complete getting my you know what pushed in. I cannot breath I get taked out in a matter of seconds by what it feels like a guy witn no recoil. Pub are some of the best players I have ever seen in my life. The people in Bronze are some of the insane players I have seen in my life. There is not one suck player in this game every game ever where I turn some all start is mowing me down outta no place.
Now I know there are great player out there but every game in pubs and ranked? I have played and got to Plat then next season to Diamond stayed there for a few seasons then hit Masters. But now? I can't even get outta BRONZE wo my butt getting destroyed. When I lost I leave I don't freak out. I'm holding my head high cuz I feel like some are cheating and it's only a matter of time before they get banned and I'll be ahead of them? I dunno make sense?
