Getting put solo in ranked match ?!

I just want some logical explanation on why can someone be put solo in ranked mode that is ONLY playable on full squad aka trios . Why just not w8 for max players in the lobby ( 60 ) , why does it autostart with 55 player or what ever the number is ?? My teammates don't even leave the match because it doesn't even load them in my team I just played ranked match alone vs trios and then they give you pathetic 7 points because loss whatever .. like I would rather w8 for 10 min for a match then going solo vs 50 other people that  are full squad with voice chat or other . FIX IT
